Mentoring – helping young Canadian businesses succeed

The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) is developing programmes whereby young entrepreneurs are supported by qualified Mentors, following a successful trial by the Prince’s Youth Business Trust in the U.K.

An article in Entreprise et Carrières [“Business and Careers”] magazine describes the mentoring system set up by Alterval for Saint-Gobain PAM

Saint-Gobain’s Human Resources department were among the first to hold the belief that the integration and on-the-job training of new employees should involve more experienced colleagues. Alterval’s aim was to capitalise on the know-how of more experienced colleagues and train the less experienced by harmonising their methods.
